Let’s Analyse The Promises That Screw!

One Is Famous; The Word- ‘Forever’

A Vow That Is Believed To End Never... 

But Forever Is Too Good To Be True,

Severs Up With Just A Mere Adieu. 

The Other One Is Overrated- 'Love' 
An Emotion That Is Far Above. 
Three Magical Words - "I Love You..."
Few Are Lucky; Rest Bear Pain In Lieu. 

Yet Another One Is- 'Friendship'
An Assurance That It Won't Wither...
Breaks Off Without Any Clue,
Transient It Is, Like Everything Else Too.

Meanwhile It Did Go Unnoticed, The Word- 'Smile' 
Curving It Upside Down Every Now And While...

A Curve That Promises To Set Everything Straight,
Often Found Surrendering Itself To Bad Fate. 

The Most Exaggerated Is The Word- 'Promise' Itself 

Promises To Others ; Promises To Self... 

To Keep All Promises Is A Promise Too,
